Enigma Gadget cases are made from some combination of acrylic plastic, plywood or PVC plastic. Pieces of 1/8 or 1/4 inch material are machined on a Roland MDX 15 milling machine. They are held together with #6 screws. The case is quite sturdy. The power switch and power connectors fit into the side of the cases and must be no more that 1/4 inch deep. If the device runs off battery power there is a flat rechargeable battery pack on the lower level and the logic circuitry is on the next level.
